Online Filing of Personal Property Assessment Form

Marty McGuire, Camden County Assessor is proud to announce, commencing January 1, 2017, the Camden County Assessor's Office will have the option for each taxpayer in Camden County to declare their personal property assessment form in Camden County Missouri by eFileeFile is an online filing system each person who owns personal property in Camden County Missouri can use.  An ePIN number is printed below the barcode on your 2017 Camden County Personal Property Assessment form you receive in January.  You have the option of either filing the paper assessment form by mail, bring the assessment form to the Camden County Assessor’s Office, or file your personal property assessment by eFile online.  The ePIN will ONLY appear on your assessment form that is mailed to you each January.  The ePIN will change each year.

 

If you decide to file your personal property assessment on line, click the link to eFILE Personal Property located on the left of this page and follow the instructions.  Once you file your assessment  form you will not be able to re-enter your account to make any changes/amendments.  If you need to make an amendment, you will have to personally contact the Camden County Assessor's Office and  file an amended paper assessment form with the Camden County Assessor’s Office Personal Property Department. The option to file your personal property assessment form by eFile will only be available from Janaury 1 to May 1 each year.  HOWEVER, Missouri State Statutes state the personal property assessment form is to be returned no later than March 1 or an assessment penalty will be applied to the tax bill.  The penalty amount can be as high as $105.00 depending on the total assessed value of the personal property assessment.

The acceptence of electronic filing for 2023 personal property declarations will end on April 30, 2023.  Please contact our office in order to file the 2017 personal property declaration if after April 30, 2023.
